Torquay started well enough with a strong wind in their backs produced some early pressure that led to an Aron Hern try on 8 mins, converted by Aaron Graham.
Taunton responded with their own pressure that put Torquay on the back foot. Torquay managed to weather the storm and put themselves further in front on 23 mins with an Aaron Graham penalty.
Two further tries followed on 30 and 37 mins, through Aaron Graham and Henry Raby, both converted by Graham who had a good day with his boot.

Torquay made further changes in the second half and had to spend most of it defending Taunton pressure. Taunton certainly picked up the pace and were rewarded with a converted try on 15 mins. They continued to attack Torquay  and despite a strong wind in their back they tried to run the ball on most occasions.
Torquay for their part defended in numbers and to their credit did not weaken. With so many changed to the side it made it difficult to get into any real patten.

Torquay's national colts cup game against Nuneaton has been arranged for this coming Saturday, 8th March.
