TICS GO THROUGH

11:00 - 11 October 2007

Joe Ward and Anthony Murray scored two tries each as Torquay Colts swept Kingsbridge aside 46-0 in the National Cup.Kingsbridge never once looked like scoring a try, but couldn't be accused of giving up without a fight. Torquay should have scored more tries than they did, but were thwarted by goal-line defence and committed tackling elsewhere. Murray scored both his tries in the first half before being replaced during the interval.
Ward got one in each half - the second an audacious effort when he dived under the clutches of the Kingsbridge full-back.

Other tries were scored by Jake Knapman, Jon Woodhead, Jamie Lawrence, who had another disallowed, and Aaron Graham, who also kicked the goals.

The Tics will play either Launceston or Minehead Barbarians in the next round.
